The industry’s AR/VR revolution piqued interest throughout the COVID-19 pandemic with all the entertaining virtual events, such as shows and concerts, that people could’ve attended from their living rooms. It revolutionised gaming as well, allowing people to explore fascinating worlds and experience the rush of different adventures from the comfort of their homes.

In 2021, more than 171 million users worldwide had adopted VR, 58.9 million Americans used it more than once per month in 2021, and the number of active users will reach 65.9 million in 2023.

Many businesses within the industry thrived on an unimaginable scale during this time. Some other businesses from different industries took their chances and started promoting and advertising their businesses using cutting-edge technology in the newly revolutionised industry.
